Greek life at Mason accounts for around 7 percent of the student body, or roughly 2,000 people. If you were to take a walk around campus, you would see a very evident Greek presence. Being involved in Greek life at Mason can be one of the most enriching college experiences. Many Greek men on campus are involved in IFC Intramural sports, Greek Week, student government, community service, and many other clubs and organizations.
Being Greek is also an opportunity to form lasting relationships. The people you join with will not only be your friends for the next four years, but for life. Some of your brothers may one day be the best man at your wedding. Many alumni will approach chapters with job opportunities. Being a member of a Greek organization helps facilitate these connections.
